Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin

I began playing coronet at home around the third grade. My mom played coronet, trumpet, and french horn, while my dad had played trombone; old tired instruments were readily available in our play room. I was more than eager to make noise err music, and went on to additionally teach myself piano in fifth grade when my mom, having always wanted one, purchased a piano for the home.
I still play today - my original coronet, as my nephew has my Bach trumpet that he inherited while in school.
Music was my first artistic love, and when in Berlin - Germany, the land of Wagner, Beethoven etc. - I spent the afternoon at Musikinstrumenten Museum, where I had the entire museum to myself on a weekday, save for a local school class trip which did allowed me to enjoy live demonstrations of some of their instruments, mainly organs and pianos.
The collection and space itself were beautiful, as museums and their collections in Berlin tend to be.
